The Adams Stove Company is a locally owned retail business in Adams, MA. We are seeking to hire a skilled Business Service Manager with at least five years of experience. The successful applicant needs to have a desire to work efficiently, be a self-starter, and possess both excellent client-facing and telephone communication skills. The candidate must be able to work independently and be willing to work overtime during the season. We offer a competitive salary, vacation time, and discretionary days off.
Must have proven skills providing administrative support for:
- Maintain, manage, and update calendars, contact lists, and customer database.
- Coordinate appointments, installations, and various details.
- Copying, typing, faxing, sending/receiving emails.
- Document preparation.
- Answer and direct all incoming calls.
- Receive, sort, and deliver incoming FedEx, UPS, mail, etc.
- Set up and/or maintain files, routine filing, online town building permits, and various other documents.
Qualifications:
- TEAMPLAYER, POSITIVE ATTITUDE, and RETAIL SALES EXPERIENCE.
- Organizational and business skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and be a quick learner
- Strong attention to detail and follow through a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Versatile computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs, Word, Advanced Excel experience and Outlook
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
